duivel met rode lippen wit.png

'Favor dël Demòni' means 'Choice of the Devil' in the Piedmontese dialect.

Why would the devil choose from all the wonderful grapes that grow in this area?

Can't you have the best of all in a wine?

Sure it can!

That's why we called this unique blend 'Favor dël Demòni'

Monferrato Rosso DOC

A traditional blend from Piemontese grapes

Maceration on the skins takes place at a controlled temperature. Each vine is then separated into oak barrels where it ages for 12 months. After aging in wood we make the blend. So the wine remains in the bottle for another year.

After swirling, complex aromas of small red fruits, berries, cherry, strawberry, a little vanilla, slightly smoky and a nice herbal touch.

Nice full roundness in the mouth, balanced tannins. The soft fruity fresh acidity is well balanced with the dosed wood and fumé. Nicely balanced after decanting. Elegant and long finish.

Serve at 17-18 °.
